Sunnyside Cottage

Our family has been going to Tahoe for years. We live in Santa Cruz and love the water, so when this property became available, we jumped at it. We love to hike and ride bikes and play in the lake in winter and ski and cross country ski in the winter.

We came across the Sequoia house and the four of us all immediately fell in love. It was the perfect combination of rustic Tahoe and cozy feelings. From the moment we stepped through the door to look at the fireplace and knotty pine wooden walls we were in love with our new home. The west shore is fabulous! Easy to get to from I-80 and flat terrain means that winter travel is easy. We love pets and that's why our place is available to responsible pet owners and their beloved pets!

From a large grassy field in front during the summer time, to the beautiful enclosed back yard with a hammock, the outdoor charms create pure relaxation. The charming kitchen with the rustic 1930's Wedgewood oven/stove that creates an old-time feel that is unbeatable (and it works great!). We also allow you use of our "toys" kayaks, a paddle board and four bikes! Enjoy, have fun, and use at your own risk.
